JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 14-02-2017 This is an application for grant of bail for offences punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been implicated in this case and there is allegation against him that he realized Rs.100/- from the contract employee and he is in custody for about three months.

Heard learned A.P.P. also and he has opposed the prayer for bail.

Heard both sides. From perusal of the record it appears that this case is of the year 2010 and earlier petitioner has come before this Court for anticipatory bail and his prayer for anticipatory bail was rejected in the year 2013 and petitioner has

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4680 of 2017 (2) dt.14-02-2017 2/2 surrendered in December, 2016. Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, learned court below, i.e., Special Judge Vigilance-II, Patna, is directed to expedite the trial in connection with Special Case no. 25 of 2010 arising out of Sikandara (Jamui) P. S. Case no. 43 of 2010.
