====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 08-04-2024 The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for the following reliefs:
a) To issue an appropriate writ preferably in the nature of certiorari for setting aside the letter no.3022, dated 7.6.1997, issued under the signature of the Estates Officer,Bihar State Housing Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board), whereby and where under allotment of Flat No.35FA- 4/14 in favour of the petitioner under self finance scheme has been cancelled;
b) To issue an appropriate writ preferably in the nature of certiorari for setting aside letter no.1325 dated 14.9.2004 issued under
Patna High Court CWJC No.13553 of 2018(8) dt.08-04-2024 2/2 the signature of Estates Officer of the Board by which exorbitant demand of Rs.8,71,654/- (Rs. Eight lacs Seventy one thousand six hundred fifty four only) has been made from the petitioner for allotment of Flat no.35 FA-4/14 to him.
c) To issue an appropriate writ preferably in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondent authorities to discharge their legal obligation and to handover Flat No.35FA-4/14 situated at Mohalla Bahadurpur, Patna to the petitioner at the rate advertised by the respondent authorities in the notice published by them in the year 1989 and in alternative petitioner prays for return of money with interest."
2. The grievances of the petitioner have been redressed, as has been submitted jointly by the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the Housing Board, Shri Priyadarshi.
3. In that view of the matter, this application is disposed of.
