1. Though the present writ petition has been filed for quashing the letter dated 05.04.2024, issued by the District Returning Officer, Banka, by which the nomination filed by the petitioner to contest the Banka Lok Sabha Constituency No.27 in the election of Lok Sabha-2024, which has already been held, has been cancelled, however, considering the fact that the election process is over and the name of the successful candidate has already been declared, the learned counsel for the petitioner admits that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, hence it is submitted that the petitioner does not wish to press the present writ petition.

2. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
