The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No.3152 of 2019, arising out of Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 164 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 30(a), 37 (C) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act as well as Section 25(1-b)a & 26 of the Arms Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant is the wife of the petitioner and she has filed the present case against the petitioner on account of dispute between the husband and wife. Learned counsel further submits that the marriage was solemnized in the year 2014. Petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35376 of 2019(2) dt.30-05-2019 2/2 in custody since 22.03.2019. During the course of search, one live cartridge was seized from the possession of the petitioner. Considering the fact that from the possession of the petitioner 0.375 ml liquor and one live cartridge were seized, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna, in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 164 of 2019.
