2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction for early disposal of Maintenance Case No. 62(M) of 2017 pending before the court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Buxar. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has filed the case for maintenance of herself as well as her minor daughter but due to delaying approach of the respondent even after more than 85 adjournments, the matter has not been disposed of by the learned Family Court. Even the petition filed

Patna High Court C.Misc. No.629 of 2024(2) dt.22-08-2024 2/2 for enhancement of interim maintenance amount filed in the year 2019 has not been disposed of till date.

4. The facts mentioned in the petition show a very unfortunate situation and sorry state of affair in the Family Court. Since the petitioner has come before this Court with limited prayer for expeditious disposal maintenance case which is pending since 2017, I do not think there is any need to issue notice to the respondent.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances, learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Buxar is directed to take up the matter on urgent basis and proceed to dispose of Maintenance Case No. 62(M) of 2017 within next three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the present petition stands disposed of.
