The petitioner seeks bail in Special Case No. 04 of 2017, arising out of Vigilance P.S. Case No. 07 of 2017 under Sections 7/13(2) read with Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The petitioner was trapped and he was arrested while taking bribe of Rs. 15,000/-.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that trap was not done in accordance with law and the charge-sheet has already been submitted. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 19.01.2017.

Learned counsel for the Vigilance submits that charge-sheet has already been submitted.

Considering the fact that of course the

No.14917 of 2017 (2) dt.19-04-2017 2/2 petitioner was apprehended while taking bribe of Rs. 15,000/- but the charge-sheet has already been submitted and the petitioner is in jail for the last about three months, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Vigilance, North Bihar, Muzaffarpur in connection with Special Case No. 04 of 2017, arising out of Vigilance P.S.
