2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Town P.S. Case No.182 of 2025 for allegedly having committed offences under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 352 and 109 of the B.N.S., 2023.

As per the First Information Report, which has been lodged on the basis of the written report submitted by the informant, to the effect that on the date of occurrence, at about 10 O'clock, the informant was going to his shop and, at the same time, the petitioner was also going on his bike. All of a sudden, the petitioner fell down from his bike and he started assaulting and using filthy language upon the informant of the present case. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. He submits that the petitioner fell down on the ground and due to which, he collided with the informant and the informant sustained injuries due to such collision. He further submits that no such occurrence has taken place and the doctor, who has medically examined the informant of the present case, has found the injuries sustained by the informant to be simple in nature. He further submits that the petitioner is an accused in one another case, bearing Town P.S. Case No.697 of 2024, in which he is on bail.
5. Per Contra, the learned APP appearing on behalf of the state opposes the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submits that that the petitioner is also an accused in one another case.

Having considered the rival submissions and after going through the records, it appears that the petitioner was going on his bike and, at the same time, the informant was also passing through the same. There was an altercation in between them, due to which he was attacked by the petitioner with a knife due to which the informant is said to have received injuries on his buttock and left chest. From perusal of Annexure-P/2, to the present anticipatory bail petition, it would transpire that the treating doctor
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36004 of 2026(2) dt.27-05-2026 3/3 at Sadar Hospital, Chapra has found the injuries sustained by the informant to be simple in nature, however caused by a sharp cutting weapon.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Saran at Chapra in connection with Town P.S. Case No.182 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S with a further condition that:- The learned court concerned shall verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner and in case at any stage it is found that the petitioner has concealed his criminal antecedent, the court concerned shall take steps for cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner. However, the acceptance of bail bond in terms of the above-mentioned order shall not be delayed for purpose of or in the name of verification.
