The petitioner seeks bail in Kankarbagh P.S. Case No. 380 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 20/22 of the NDPS Act.
Earlier the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 18.12.2019. On the last occasion report was called for from the court below regarding stage of trial vide order dated 21.12.2020 and the same has been received and kept at flag 'R'. From perusal of report, it appears that case is pending for evidence.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34701 of 2020(4) dt.29-01-2021 2/2 Considering the stage of trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
However, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible.
