This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code. According to FIR, from the referred mobile numbers ransom was being demanded from the informant. Submission of the petitioner is that the referred mobile numbers are of Md. Shah Alam and in his confessional statement, name of the petitioner and co-accused Mayank Verma appeared. Said co-accused Mayank Verma has already been allowed bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 3040/2017. The petitioner has stated that he has no concern with Shah Alam or the referred mobile numbers.
