2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 284 of 2023 registered for the offences under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420, 406, 34 and 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and is in custody since 03.04.2024.
4. The allegation against the petitioner is to cheat informant out of land deal, where he alleged to
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40916 of 2024(2) dt.10-06-2024 2/3 cheat Rs. 20,000/- from the informant alongwith other co-accused persons, working as a middleman.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that petitioner is not the beneficiary of alleged land transaction, where his implication with the present case appears only for the reason that he is attesting witness of the executed sale deed between the parties. It is submitted that the executor of sale deed namely Ram Sewak Ray has already granted bail by the learned Co-ordinate Bench of this Court through Cr. Misc. No. 39638 of 2024 vide order dated 03.06.2024. While concluding the argument it is submitted that petitioner is a man of clean antecedent and moreover, investigation of this case has been completed, for which, charge-sheet has already submitted, as such, there is no chance of tampering with the evidence.
6. Learned APP appearing on behalf of the State, opposes the prayer for bail.
7. In view of the facts and circumstances as

No.40916 of 2024(2) dt.10-06-2024 3/3 mentioned above as allegation against petitioner is limited as just to attest the sale deed as a witness, coupled with the fact that petitioner is in custody since 03.04.2024, where charge-sheet has already submitted, accordingly, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 284 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga/concerned court, subject to the conditions as mentioned under Section 437(3) of the Cr.P.C.
