The petitioner seeks bail in Sakri P.S. Case No. 110 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

The informant intercepted a vehicle bearing Registration No. BR-06T-5596 on which wheat were loaded. It is alleged that the petitioner was selling the government wheat in black market.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had purchased wheat from different farmers and the wheat does not belong to State Food Corporation. Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is in jail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6632 of 2017 (3) dt.09-03-2017 2/2 since 20.12.2016 the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in Sakri P.S. Case No. 110 of 2016.
