Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State of Bihar.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sono P.S. Case No. 411 of 2022 registered for offence under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504, 506 and 34 of Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is of stabbing the informant on his head. The allegation stands corroborated by the injury report which has been considered by the court of learned Sessions Judge, Jamui, in the order of rejection on 03.05.2023, as being grievous in nature.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is a case of false implication. The petitioner has no antecedents and the court should consider grant of anticipatory bail.

Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the nature of grievous injuries sustained on the head and the same being attributed to the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to allow petitioner's prayer for grant of anticipatory bail.
