The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Sigori P.S. case No. 45/2015 registered under Section 406, 409, 420, 465, 467, 468, 477A/34 of the IPC.

The informant alleged that an enquiry was held and it was found that Sigori PACS purchased paddy from the farmers on the basis of fake rent receipts of land and the Circle Officer, Paliganj issued enforcement order without verification of the rent receipts which caused huge loss to the Government money. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are farmers and they paid revenue of their lands and

No.35047 of 2020(2) dt.18-03-2021 2/2 the Revenue Clerk issued rent receipts in the names of petitioners and if the rent receipts are forged the petitioners cannot be held responsible for issuance of forged rent receipts. Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioners, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest/ surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order are directed to be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Danapur, Patna in connection with Sigori P.S. case No. 45/2015, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
