Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barari P.S. Case No. 18 of 2017 registered under Sections- 304 (4)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no specific allegation of torture and demand of dowry against this petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 28.01.2017.
Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner is the husband and there is specific allegation against him. Witnesses have supported the prosecution case.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21500 of 2017 (3) dt.22-06-2017 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner. His prayer for bail is, therefore, rejected.
