The present modification application has been filed for modification of the order dated 20.02.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 87023 of 2019.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to COVID, the petitioner who is an engineering student could not surrender in time and prays for extension of time for a further period of four weeks.

Considering the submission of learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46278 of 2021(2) dt.30-03-2022 2/2 petitioner, the time for surrender of the petitioner is extended by a further period of four weeks from today.

Accordingly, the present application for modification is allowed with a condition that the petitioner and his parents, all of them, will file an affidavit in the Court below at the time of furnishing bail bonds that the petitioner will marry without taking any dowry.

With the aforesaid direction and observation, the order dated 20.02.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 87023 of 2019 is modified to the extent as indicated above.
