The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Kotwa P.S. Case No.243 of 2020, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant after having received information that the petitioner was selling liquor from his shop, raided the shop of the petitioner but the petitioner managed to flee away. On search, 15.400 litres of country made liquor was recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR was sent to the court after two days of the occurrence, but it appears that 15 litres of liquor was recovered from the shop of

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) S.KUMAR/- U T
