This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
About eight kilogram of ganja was allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is in custody since 07.09.2016 and has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and the seizure list would reveal that the same is not signed by the petitioner nor a copy of the same was supplied to the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid material as well as the period already undergone by the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Special Case No. 34 of 2016 Jogbani P.S. Case No. 130 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge I-cum-Special Judge, Araria, or successor Court.
