====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA ORAL ORDER 13-07-2022 The petitioner by way of this writ petition prays for correction of the date of birth.
Heard the counsel at length.
This court finds that the documents produced required to be proved before a competent Civil Court for the purpose of correction of date of birth and would not simply be treated as a correction within meaning of the guidelines issued by the
Patna High Court CWJC No.13840 of 2018(12) dt.13-07-2022 2/2 C.B.S.E.
Granting liberty to take up the matter before the Civil Court for change of date of birth, the present writ petition is dismissed.
However, the dismissal of the writ petition would not come in way for the petitioner to take up the matter before the Civil Court, if such an appeal is filed the same shall be decided expeditiously preferably within a period of one year. (Sanjeev Prakash Sharma, J) amit/- Item no.69 U
