JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 06-01-2021 Heard Mr. Alok Kumar Alok, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Excise Case No. 185 of 2020, instituted for offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

438.840 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a vehicle of which the petitioners are Driver and Cleaner respectively.

It has been submitted on behalf of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35096 of 2020(2) dt.06-01-2021 2/2 petitioners that they were absolutely unaware of the presence of liquor in the vehicle.

The petitioners have clean antecedents.

They are in custody since 06.08.2020.

Regard being had to the afore-stated facts, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Gopalganj in connection with Excise Case No. 185 of 2020.

The petition stands allowed.
