ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 16-07-2025 In the counter affidavit filed by the respondents, it is specifically stated that the application made by the petitioner seeking compensation for the death of the husband of the petitioner has been rejected on 28.08.2021 and the petitioner if he is aggrieved by the same can approach the Electrical Superintending Engineer by way of appeal within a period of one month.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is an illiterate lady and therefore was not aware of the passing of the said order and also that they have a remedy of appeal before the Electrical Superintending Engineer.

Having regard to the same, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the Electrical Superintending Engineer within a period of four weeks from today. On such application being filed, the same shall be considered on merits and necessary orders passed strictly in accordance with law. It is needless to mention that before passing any order, the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date receipt of the copy of this order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

4. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
