The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307 of the Indian Penal Code, 27 of the Arms Act and 3(1)(x), 3(2)(v) of the S.C./S.T. Act.

The informant made allegation against the petitioner that he opened fire which hit Shyam Karan Singh, the grand-father of the informant. It is submitted that the injury report does not support the allegation of the informant. The injury report (Annexure 2) shows that Shyam Karan Singh got injuries caused by hard and blunt object.

It appears that Shyam Karan Singh sustained pellet injuries but there was no charring mark. Anticipatory Bail petition of Ashok Kumar @ Ashok Singh and others have already been

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail in Atri P.S. Case No. 194 of 2014. Accordingly, the same is rejected. The petitioner, if so advised, may surrender in the court below and make prayer for regular bail. The court below shall consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner without being prejudiced by this order and dispose of the same preferably on the same day.
