ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 01-09-2025 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the Reference Case No. 07 of 1995 has been pending before the Labour Court, Begusarai for the last more than 20 years and it would suffice if a direction is given to the Labour Court, Begusarai to dispose of the said Reference Case No. 07 of 1995 by fixing a time frame.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents-State submits that he has no objection if a direction is given to the Labour Court, Begusarai to dispose of the said

Patna High Court CWJC No.9437 of 2024(2) dt.01-09-2025 2/2 Reference Case No. 07 of 1995 strictly in accordance with law.

3. Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 7, i.e., the Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Begusarai to pass appropriate orders in Reference Case No. 07 of 1995 after duly putting all the parties on notice and giving them an opportunity to lead their respective evidence and hearing. The authority shall endeavour to dispose of the said Reference Case No. 07 of 1995 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

4. It is expected that all the parties to the litigation shall cooperate with the Presiding Officer for disposal of the case within the time fixed by this Court.

5. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
