2. The petitioner seeks bail in Complaint Case No. 781(C) of 2024 registered for the offences under Sections 420, 406 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The allegation is that for the purpose of getting a job, the petitioner took more than twenty lakh rupees from the complainant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complainant is the own sister of Ravi Ranjan Kumar Singh. He further submits that the petitioner has given Rs. 14,40,000/- out of Rs. 20,50,000/- to the complainant. He further submits that the petitioner has been in custody since 19.03.2026 and has no criminal antecedents.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the relationship between the parties and the fact that the money was given for an illegal consideration, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class/Concerned Court, Barh, Patna in connection with Complaint Case No. 781(C) of 2024.

8. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
