2. The petitioner is in custody since 25.03.2023 in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No. 174 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341/307/385/387/ 504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have demanded extortion from the Ex-M.L.A. Shivji Ray.

4. It has been submitted by Mr. Rajesh Ranjan, learned counsel for the petitioner, that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that it is unbelievable that the petitioner will demand extortion from the Ex-M.L.A.

5. In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, East Champaran, Motihari, in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No. 174 of 2022.

6. The petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned Police Station on the 1st Sunday of each month. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Saif/- U T
