Since the vehicle in question has already been released in favour of the petitioner, I am not inclined to entertain the prayer of the petitioner for payment of compensation for damages incurred by the petitioner due to illegal seizure of the vehicle. It would be open to the petitioner to seek such damages, if so advised, by filing an appropriate suit. Accordingly, the application is disposed of.
