Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Sanjay Kr. Tiwari (AC to GA 11), the learned counsel for the State.

The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to pay the amount of leave encashment for 300 days to the petitioner herein, who has retired on 31.01.2019, from the post of Forest Guard while he was posted at Jamui with the respondent-Bihar State Forest Development Corporation Limited.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.10842 of 2020(2) dt.05-04-2021 2/2 submits that the respondent no. 2 i.e. the Chief Conservator of Forest-cum-Managing Director, Bihar State Forest Development Corporation Limited, Patna, be directed to redress the grievances of the petitioner and make payment of the leave encashment amount.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 2 by filing appropriate representation within a period of four weeks from today, whereupon the respondent no. 2 shall consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders with regard to payment of the leave encashment amount within a period of four weeks thereafter and in case, the respondent no. 2 comes to a conclusion that the leave encashment amount is payable to the petitioner, the same shall be paid within a further period of four weeks thereupon.
