The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondent to delete the name of respondent no.5 from Page No.35, Volume-I at Register-II of Mouza- Sonvarsha, AnchalChenari, P.S. Chenari, District- Rohtas. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide Settlement Case No.04/78-79/237/82-83, the land was settled in favour of Sukh Deo Gaund, the father of the petitioner but without any notice to the petitioner, the name of the respondent no.5 was entered into Register II.

I am of the view that the respondents cannot be directed

Patna High Court CWJC No.15737 of 2017 (2) dt.23-07-2018 2/2 to delete the name of respondent no.5 from Register-II of Khata No.25. The proper remedy is under Land Dispute Redressal Act and the petitioner if so advised, may file petition before the D.C.L.R.

Accordingly, I do not find any merit in this writ petition. The same is dismissed.
