prevailing situation on account of COVID 19 Pandemic, requiring social distancing.

The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to make necessary correction in the electricity bill dated 12.12.2019, issued in favor of Consumer No. 11820015705, which is in the name of the wife of petitioner, by which a bill of Rs. 19285/- has been raised. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to agitate the aforesaid disputes before the consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, Muzaffarpur, which has been constituted under Section 42(5) of the Electricity Act, 2003. The Ld. Senior Counsel appearing for the Respondents Company, Sri Vinay Kirti Singh, assisted by Shri Vijay Kumar Verma and Shri Akhileshwar Singh as also the learned counsel for the respondent State, Sri Sunil Kumar Mandal, SC3, have got no objection.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of as not pressed, however with liberty to the petitioner to approach the consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, Muzaffarpur for redressal of his aforesaid grievances and in case appropriate petition is filed within a period of four weeks from

today, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, Muzaffarpur in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks, thereafter. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) Tiwary/-
