It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that his appeal bearing Case No. 43 of 2016 is pending before the District Magistrate cum Collector, Rohtas at Sasaram. He submits that as a result of pendency of the appeal his stolen truck which was subject to the confiscation proceeding is rotting in the possession of the authorities. In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court would direct the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram to dispose of petitioner's appeal within a period of eight weeks from the date of
Patna High Court CWJC No.18912 of 2017 (2) dt.13-08-2018 2/2 receipt/production of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is thus disposed off.
