2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 217 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 386, 387, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is a member of the gang, which is involved in extortion. The accused persons have demanded extortion of Rs.1 crore. During investigation, the complicity of the petitioner has surfaced. The petitioner is accused in three more cases, which includes case of extortion, loot and murder.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is in custody since 28.01.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.

8. If the trial is delayed by the prosecution, the petitioner may renew is prayer for bail.
