JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-08-2018 This writ petition was filed on 04.05.2015 for setting aside the election of the Chief Councilor, Nagar Parishad Forbesganj, Araria. The petitioner has also prayed for staying the functioning of the Chief Councilor during pendency of the writ petition.
The term for which the Chief Councilor of Nagar Parishad, Forbesganj had been elected has already come to an end
Patna High Court CWJC No.7063 of 2015 (2) dt.27-08-2018 2/2 as the election of Nagar Parishad, Forbesganj was held in the month of June, 2012. Subsequently, a fresh election of the said Nagar Parishad has also taken place.
In that view of the matter, the writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, it is dismissed.
