The petitioner is in custody in connection with Buxar (Town) P.S. Case No. 118 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 323, 379, 383, 420, 467, 468 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got one criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 24.04.2023.

It is alleged that petitioner accepted an advance of Rs. 14,00,000/- (Rupees Fourteen Lakhs Only) for purchase of a house in question but afterwards it was discovered that the said house was upon Government land. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner had received Rs. 7,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakhs Only) for sale of house but

Considering the aforesaid facts and period of custody, let the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Buxar (Town) P.S.
