ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 17-07-2015 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 6.4.2005 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court IV, Gopalganj in Criminal Appeal No.26 of 1995/8 of 2004, by which he has upheld the conviction of the Petitioner and maintained the sentence passed on 30.5.1995 by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Gopalganj in Complaint case No.240 of 1991 (Trial No.202 of 1995).

Having gone through the impugned judgments, I do not find any reason for interference. However, in view of the nature of offence and the date of occurrence, the sentence is modified to the period already undergone by the Petitioner.

With the aforesaid modification in sentence, the revision application stands dismissed.
