In this case, the petitioner is claiming that he has been transferred from Bhagalpur to Purnea causing unnecessary harassment on the ground that his wife is in Indian Railway having been posted at Bhagalpur.

The petitioner has been appointed and posted at Bhagalpur since 21.4.2014 and, after three years, he has been transferred to Purnea. A grievance has been raised that the clerical staff can only be transferred after lapse of five years and the Bank must ensure that

Patna High Court CWJC No.1991 of 2017 dt.05-09-2017 when one of the spouse is working in Central Government and another is working in a nationalized or in private bank, the preference should be given that both should be posted at one place. Let the petitioner should file a detailed representation containing circular before the Zonal Manager, Dena Bank, Patna Zone, who will examine the claim of the petitioner and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law.

With the aforementioned observation, this application is disposed of.
