JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 17-11-2017 Mr. Awadhesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Ms. Smriti Singh, learned AC to AAG-10 and Mr. Satyendra Kumar Jha, learned counsel for the Accountant General are present and have been heard.
The petitioner, a class III employee with the District Legal Service Authority, Jamui, prays for a direction to the respondents for consideration of his case for grant of grade pay of Rs.2400/- in place of 1900/- in the pay scale of Rs.520020200/- as admissible to permanent employees posted in different courts.
It is by now well settled that issues regarding fixation of pay or for grant of parity has to be raised first before the authority competent to look into the matter but the petitioner without raising the issue has rushed to this Court.
Patna High Court CWJC No.355 of 2017 (2) dt.17-11-2017 In the circumstances and as prayed, the writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to raise his grievance before the appropriate authority and who shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law by a speaking order within a period of 3 months from the date of raising of the claim.
