In this case the petitioner is seeking release of an admitted amount of Rs.18,16,825/- on account of the material supplied by the petitioner during Parliamentary Election, 2014. The short fact of this case is that the petitioner, on the direction of the District Election Officer cum District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, has assisted in holding the Parliamentary Election, 2014 by supplying necessary goods for smooth completion of the Election. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is entitled to the amount, as mentioned above, he has moved here and there but, all gone in vain without any fruitful result and
Patna High Court CWJC No.16383 of 2016 dt.08-05-2017 even the petitioner has filed an application before the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, requesting for release of the aforesaid amount for the assistance provided by the petitioner. In that view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh application along with a copy of this order to the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur who will examine the claim of the petitioner and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled for the aforesaid amount, the same must be paid to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of filing of the application by the petitioner.
With the aforementioned observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
