Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide order dated 04.11.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 24207/2020 with a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial, preferably, by taking up day to day hearing. By order dated 27.10.2021 a report from the trial court about the stage of trial was called for which reveals that case is still pending for evidence.

It is submitted that petitioner is a lady and is in custody since 25.11.2018, that is more than three years. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts of the case, the period of

No.47166 of 2021(4) dt.08-12-2021 2/2 custody of the petitioner and the progress of trial, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-Icum- Special Judge, POCSO Act, Sitamarhi in connection with Sitamarhi PS case No. 1069/2018.
