The petitioners seek bail in connection with Bhorey P.S. Case No. 252 of 2020, dated 22.08.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

It appears that 62.800 litres of liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioners.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34527 of 2020(2) dt.21-12-2020 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the recovery has wrongly been shown in the name of the petitioners.

The petitioners are in custody since 23.08.2020 and are persons of clean antecedents.

Regard being had to the period of custody of the petitioners and the nature of accusation against them, they are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Addl. District and Sessions Judgecum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj in connection with Bhorey P.S. Case No. 252 of 2020.
