The petitioner seeks bail in Kursela P.S. case No. 60/2020 registered u/s 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 504, 506 of the IPC.

The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted Akhilesh Mandal with Lathi on his head.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is counter version and the occurrence took place due to land dispute. There is series of litigation between two sides on account of land dispute. Akhilesh Mandal did not get any external injury and his injury report shows that he complained body ache. The petitioner is in custody since 18.06.2020. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above
