28-03-2016 At the very outset, Sri Pramod Mishra, learned counsel for petitioners, in presence of learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, submits that though F.I.R. was not lodged in relation to offences under the provisions of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, the police as per direction of the Superintendent of Police has submitted chargesheet under such provisions also and as such, the order of cognizance is bad. However, after some argument, he makes a prayer for disposal of the present petition so that petitioners may take the pleas, which have been taken in the present petition, before the court below at appropriate stage.

The petition stands disposed of with liberty, as indicated above.
