JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-03-2021 The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to pay the amount of leave encashment for 300 days of the deceased husband of the petitioner herein, who died in harness on 11.06.2018, while working as peon in the office of the Bihar State Forest Development Corporation Limited.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Respondent No. 3 i.e. the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests

Patna High Court CWJC No.438 of 2021(2) dt.23-03-2021 2/2 (Development) cum Managing Director, Bihar State Forest Development Corporation Limited, Patna, be directed to redress the grievances of the petitioner and make payment of the leave encashment amount.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Respondent No. 3 by filing appropriate representation within a period of two weeks from today, whereupon the Respondent No. 3 shall consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders with regard to the payment of the leave encashment amount within a period of four weeks, thereafter and in case, the Respondent No. 3 comes to a conclusion that the leave encashment amount is payable to the petitioner, the same shall be paid within a further period of four weeks thereafter.
