JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 02-04-2018 Taking note of the nature of order passed by the learned Writ Court and the fact that an arbitrary action of punishment has been quashed by the learned Writ Court when this Court was coming to a conclusion to conduct an enquiry into the matter of distribution of compensation for the entire period and to enquire as to how the respondent employee has been singled out and action taken against him and when we indicated that we may conduct an enquiry against all such employees who are responsible for the delay in payment of
Patna High Court LPA No.670 of 2017 dt.02-04-2018 2/2 compensation, learned counsel for the State seeks permission to withdraw this appeal.
We grant permission to withdraw the appeal with a caution to the State Government that such appeals against reasonable orders of this Court should not be filed and the State Government should be more careful in granting permission for filing LPAs to these officers. With the aforesaid, the State is permitted to withdraw the Appeal.
The appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.
