2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khiri More (Imamganj) P.S. Case No. 171 of 2023 dated 10.11.2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385, 387 and 120B of the I.P.C.
3. As per prosecution case, on 05.11.2023, when the informant's son Amit Kumar @ Shashi Kant Kumar went to Vellor for his treatment, in the meantime, on his mobile no. 7992431449, a call was made through Whatsapp No. 7209472595 for demand of rangdari of Rs. 5,00,000/-. It is further alleged that the informant was also threatened of direconsequence, if he would not fulfil the above demand.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. His name has surfaced in the present case during investigation only on the basis of detective and CCTV footage showing his no direct hand in the execution the offence of extortion. The petitioner is a student of I.T.I. studying in the Ist year Electrician Course during Academic Year 2023-2025 and has also passed Matric in Ist Division and in Intermediate in 2nd Division. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in paragraph no. 3 of the bail application. The petitioner is in custody since 15.11.2023.
5.Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, let the above named petitioner, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M. Ist Class, Civil Court, Danapur, Patna in connection with Khiri More (Imamganj) P.S. Case No. 171 of 2023 with further condition:-

No.39944 of 2024(2) dt.04-07-2024 3/3 (I) The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned court below on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bonds of the petitioner are liable to be cancelled.
