In this case, the petitioner is claiming an amount of Rs.1,01,44,256/- for the work executed by him and found by the Superintending Engineer and Executive Engineer to be entitled to the aforesaid amount.
Patna High Court CWJC No.3967 of 2017 dt.21-04-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits the petitioner has approached before the Principal Secretary, Building Construction Department, for making payment of the aforesaid amount, but moving here and there with empty hands inasmuch a Four Men Committee, comprises the Engineer-in-Chief, Chief Engineer, Superintending Engineer and Executive Engineer, found that the petitioner is entitled to the aforesaid amount. In such view of the matter, let the petitioner file an application before the Principal Secretary, Building Construction Department, attaching the order of this Court and giving details of the fact. If such an application is filed, the Principal Secretary, Building Construction Department, shall examine the same and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled to the aforesaid amount, then the same will be released in favour of the petitioner as early as possible but not beyond six weeks from the date of filing of such application.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ application is disposed of.
