The present petition has been filed for modification of order dated 26-08-2019 passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 2635 of 2019.

It is submitted on behalf of the appellants that appellants reside at Jalandhar for the purpose of earning their livelihood and their employer did not permit them to leave Jalandhar and also due to COVID-19 Lockdown, the petitioners could not surrender before the court below within the time fixed by this Court, vide order dated 26-08-2019 passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 2635 of 2019.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2148 of 2021(2) dt.23-02-2021 2/2 modification petition is allowed.

Appellants are granted further four weeks time to surrender before the court below, in view of the aforesaid order. The order dated 26-08-2019 in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 2635 of 2019 stands modified to the extent, as indicated above. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Saif/- U T
