JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 26-06-2025 Heard Mr. Fahad Khurshid, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Mr. Sarvesh Kumar Singh, learned AAG-13 for the State and Mr. Santosh Kumar, learned counsel for the Lalit Narayan Mithila University.

2. Considering the relief as sought for in the present writ petition, the petitioner, if so advised, may file a detailed representation before the Vice Chancellor, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga for his regularisation on the ground that the petitioner was engaged as a lecturer in C.M. Law College, Darbhanga on the contract basis vide Letter No. 16896/2012

Patna High Court CWJC No.9896 of 2025(2) dt.26-06-2025 2/2 dated 04.12.2012 issued by the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga in Para-47 of the writ petition petitioner has given information that since 04.12.2012, petitioner has discharged his duty to the satisfaction of all the concerned.

3. I find that, in case, the petitioner files his representation, then the Vice Chancellor of the University must give due regard to the judgment passed by the Apex Court in the case of Jaggo Vs. Union of India & Ors. (SLP (C) No. 5580 of 2024), Vinod Kumar and Ors. Etc. Vs. Union of India & Ors., reported in (2024) 1 S.C.R. 1230 and Shripal & Anr. vs. Nagar Nigam, Ghaziabad (Civil Appeal Nos. 8158-8179 of 2024) and dispose of the representation of the petitioner expeditiously.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of.
