JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-08-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the informant. The petitioner seeks quashing of the first information report in Buxar Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes P.S. Case No.23 of 2014 registered under sections 341, 323, 379 and 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code as also under section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

The allegations made in the first information report do constitute a cognizable offence. In that view of the mater, I find no merit in this application.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed.
