This application under Article 226 of the Constitution

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1054 of 2019(2) dt.15-07-2019 2/2 of India has been filed by the petitioner for quashing the order dated 29.09.2018 passed by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Patna City whereby a proceeding under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short 'Cr.P.C.') has been converted into a proceeding under Section 145 of the Cr.P.C.. In view of the availability of an equally efficacious statutory remedy being available to the petitioner under the Cr.P.C., I am not inclined to entertain this application in extraordinary writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

The application is dismissed.
