2. The present writ petition has been filed with the following relief/s :- "I. To pay arrear of salary since the date of initial appointment treating the appointment of the petitioner on the post of

Patna High Court CWJC No.9638 of 2025(2) dt.24-06-2025 2/3 Regular Teacher District Cadre at Pay-Scale 9300-34800 grade pay 4200.

II. To direct the respondent authority to pay the differential salary since the date of initial appointment on compassionate ground in accordance with pay-scale 9300-34800 grade pay 4200 provided the petitioners by subsequent order containing Memo No. 3011 dated 24.06.2023 issued by the District Education Officer, Vaishali."

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed a representation seeking the aforesaid relief before respondent no. 5, the District Education Officer, Vaishali at Hajipur, as contained in Annexure-P/8. He further submits that despite filing the said representation, no decision has been taken thereon till date.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that a direction may be issued to the respondent authority to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioners, if not already disposed of, within a stipulated time frame.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 5, the District Education Officer, Vaishali at Hajipur, to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representation by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy
