The petitioner, who is a practicing advocate of this Court, has filed the present application seeking certain directions with regard to the preparation and publication of the cause list. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and on going through the pleadings, the Court appreciates the positive aspects which have been highlighted and the desire of the petitioner to make the system more convenient, both for the Courts, learned counsel as well as for the litigants, especially the suggestion that the entire pending cases in the Court be given a serial number to be reflected, at least on the web so that it can be identified and located by all the

Learned counsel for the High Court submitted that a new system have been put in place and there may be initial difficulties, but whenever problems have been brought to the notice of the concerned department of the High Court, steps are taken to solve the same so that no inconvenience is caused to any party. He further submitted that the High Court is taking steps, especially with regard to making the system more simple and practicable. He submitted that the petitioner may submit a detailed representation to Hon'ble the Chief Justice, through the Registrar General of the Court and assured that the same would be given due consideration.

Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to such suggestion. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before Hon'ble the Chief Justice, to be submitted to the Registrar General of the Court. The petitioner shall be at liberty to supplement his representation in future, if so advised/required.
